Quagga Designs is a Canadian furniture company specializing in wood bed frames that are easy and fun to assemble. We teamed up with the branding agency newkid to design and develop a new website that showcased the new brand and beautiful products that are Quagga Designs.

In collaboration with newkid, we decided to use a premium Webflow template to start our designs and meet the tight timeline of Quagga Designs. We chose the Sundeyes template for its clean navbar styling and sticky menu product page. Although the template helped us quickly ideate and build the first draft of the new website, we ended up rebuilding the entire site to meet our standards. Our objective was to create a website that was clean, fresh, and friendly, reflecting the new Quagga branding.

This website presented an opportunity to inject some style and fun into the online presence of a fascinating Canadian business. Our goal was to introduce an element of playfulness to the site. To achieve this, we implemented matter.js in the footer with the slogan “Building Blocks for Life.” The words tumble into view, and each word is a block that can be stacked and built upon by the user. We also incorporated interactions and animations to enhance the user experience.

In conclusion, our collaboration with NewKid has been a resounding success, effectively meeting both the timeline and the unique brand requirements. At Quagga Designs, we implemented custom solutions—from tailored code and bespoke page transitions to a fantastic loading animation—to elevate the user experience. The integration of the Foxy.io shopping cart streamlined the online purchasing process, adding both efficiency and value. This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality web solutions that resonate with our client's vision and goals.
